In partnership with the California Civilian Oversight Alliance
NACOLE is excited to announce that it will hold the second regional meeting of 2025 in the San Francisco Bay Area on August 27th & 28th. We hope that you will be able to join us for this much-anticipated and important event.
This Regional Meeting is a training and networking event geared toward a variety of audiences, including oversight practitioners, community members, justice system stakeholders, and academics, among others. It will seek to address issues important to the region and those who support, are interested in, or work in the field of civilian oversight of law enforcement. In particular, speakers will address artificial intelligence in civilian oversight and law enforcement, diminishing support of oversight, the intersection of ICE and local law enforcement, RIPA data and audit implications, and community engagement and community strategies.
If there is enough interest among registrants to attend the Giants vs. Cubs game at Oracle Park, on the evening of August 27th, we will reserve a block of seats. Each person will be responsible for purchasing their own ticket, around $50. You'll be asked to indicate your interest during the checkout process.
The registration fee for this event is $150 and includes 2 days of training, light continental breakfast on both Wednesday and Thursday (Aug. 27, 9am - Aug. 28, 5pm) For questions and more details about the event, please email [email protected]. Please note that NACOLE will refund registrations minus a $50 processing fee through August 20, 2025. We will not be able to honor refund requests after this date.
