NACOLE invites you to our next quarterly online virtual forum for jail and prison oversight (JPO) on May 20, 2025, 1:00 – 2:00 pm (Eastern Time).

This forum will focus on the future of PREA (the Prison Rape Elimination Act). A representative from Just Detention International will give a brief presentation on the recent termination funding for the PREA Resource Center, what this means for the future of PREA related services, what we still don't know, and some possibilities for the future. 

The presentation will be followed by Q&A and open discussion facilitated by Noah Barth, NACOLE member and Prison Monitoring Director for the Pennsylvania Prison Society. Forum attendees are encouraged to bring specific questions and resources related to the topic as this is an opportunity to exchange insight and suggestions with the JPO community.
