With jurisdictions across the country looking to implement civilian oversight, there is increased need to share information on civilian oversight of law enforcement. As a result, NACOLE has put together a basic training that will be conducted virtually and will include information on what civilian oversight is, the different models, guiding principles, the benefits of implementation, and more. The session will also include information on how NACOLE can assist your city as it works to implement or enhance civilian oversight law enforcement.

These training sessions are free, will be offered multiple times, and are geared towards community members looking to estabish oversight or those already involved in oversight but would like to learn more.
