The Importance of a Discipline Matrix in Policing & Civilian Oversight
On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. ET, NACOLE will welcome Heather Cook and Dr. Richard Rosenthal to discuss the opportunities and challenges faced in trying to ensure fair and consistent police discipline that satisfies community expectations and supports effective and Constitutional policing. They will discuss their experiences in creating and sustaining discipline matrixes in New York City and Denver, and provide guidance on best practices for creating and implementing discipline matrixes to improve police behavior and culture going into the future.
The webinar is scheduled for one hour, followed by an optional 30-minute discussion immediately afterward. Only those who attend the live webinar will be able to join the discussion. The webinar will be recorded and available to only registrants for three months.
