New Frontiers in Independent Oversight of Jails, Prisons, and Police
The National Association for Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement (NACOLE) and the University of Texas School of Law and Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs are partnering for the 2020 NACOLE Academic Symposium, which will be held at the University of Texas School of Law on March 6, 2020. The event will bring together practitioners, policy makers, policing and corrections experts, and advocates for independent civilian oversight of law enforcement with a broad range of academics pursuing research and scholarship in the areas of policing, corrections, and/or civilian oversight of law enforcement and corrections. In addition, there will be an executive leadership forum held on March 7, 2020 for both those working in the areas of law enforcement and corrections oversight.
