 Mr. Anthony W. Finnell, Sr. currently serves as the Executive Director of the Citizens’ Police Review Board (CPRB) in Oakland.  The CPRB receives allegations of misconduct from citizens, investigates those allegations and renders a decision based on the findings of the investigation.  The CPRB also reviews police policy and makes policy recommendations as needed.  The CRPB is an independent organization, separate from the Oakland Police  Department. Walter Katz is the Independent Police Auditor for the City of San José. He was appointed to the position by the City Council in 2015. Previously he served as a Deputy Inspector General for the County of Los Angeles Office of Inspector General. Prior to that he was an attorney with the Office of Independent Review. Susan Hutson is the Independent Police Monitor for the City of New Orleans Ms. Hutson is also the President of the International Law Enforcement Auditors Association.  The City of New Orleans welcomed Susan Hutson as the Independent Police Monitor in June of 2010.
